Several fishermen killed by adverse weather

Authorities say fishermen of Tangalle and Dodanduwa are greatly affected by the adverse weather condition.
 
The fishing vessels from Dodanduwa are reported missing.
 
Another, multi-day fishing craft that had left shores from Tangalle is also missing.
 
It was reported that a body of a fisherman was found from the Tangalle coast.
 
Meanwhile, in Kahawa, Ambalangoda a fisherman was killed when a boat toppled due to bad weather.
 
The other fishermen were taken to the coast safely.
 
The radio signal building in Matara and Galle were damaged due to strong winds and rains.
 
Meanwhile, 7 fishing boats that left the Akurala Fisheries Harbour had informed that they are struggling to reach the land.
 
The Sri Lanka Navy has been informed of it.
 
The fishing community is advised not to go to sea in the coming 2 days as well due to adverse weather condition.
 
The prevailing adverse weather has affected the Central hills as well.
