Stray cattle to be removed from streets before 15th of December

The Ministry of Megapolis and Western Development says that stray cattle should be removed from the streets of Colombo District before  15th of December.

Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka said thereafter the stray cattle will be sent to a cattle orphanage.

Accordingly, Municipal Councils of Kaduwela, Colombo, Dehiwala-Mt.Lavinia, Moratuwa, and Kotte, as well as the urban councils of Kolonnawa, Boralesgamuwa, Kesbewa, and Maharagama, will be required to ensure that all stray cattle have been removed from their streets by 15th of this month.
