Racket of mixing palm oil with coconut oil raided

The special unit of Dambulla Special Task Force raided a place in Galewela that allegedly mix palm oil with coconut out.
 
Our correspondent said that 25,000 liters of mixed coconut oil were found in that place.
 
A police officer said that they also recovered 5,000 liters of mixed coconut out, ready to be transported to Kandy.
 
It was found that the suspect has bought a liter of coconut oil for Rs. 200 and then mix them with palm oil.
 
A mixed liter of coconut oil has been sold for Rs. 370 per liter.
 
Police have arrested the businessman who owns the place.
