Rise in income at Kaudulla National Park

The annual income of the Kaudulla National Park has exceeded Rs. 256 million this year, according to its Chief Ranger W. J. K. Herath.
 
He added that the visitors to the park has risen considerably compared to last year and most of them are coming to watch movements of elephants.
 
This national park provides a 6656-hectare elephant corridor, only 6 km from off the main Habarana - Trincomalee road.
