Public requested to observe two minutes silence in memory of tsunami victims

The Disaster Management Center is requesting the general public to observe two minutes silence from 9.25am to 9.27am today (26) to commemorate all those who died from 2004 tsunami.

In addition, various commemoration ceremonies have been organized throughout the island,  including at the Thelwatta, Pareliya Tsunami monument.
