Chief of the indigenous community, Uruwarige Wannila Aththo says that they expect to elect a representative of their community to the parliament.

The chieftain further said that a female representative will be contesting for the upcoming local government election, as a step towards reaching this goal.

Speaking to our news team, chief of the indigenous community, Uruwarige Wannila Aththo said that this will be an opportunity for the indigenous community to discuss the problems encountered by them.
