Pakistani Army Commander Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa has arrived in Sri Lanka for a 3-day visit at the invitation of his Sri Lankan counterpart Lt. Gen. Mahesh Senanayake.
 
Our airport correspondent said that the Pakistani army chief arrived here this afternoon (Jan. 15).
 
During his stay, Gen. Bajwa will hold talks with Sri Lankan authorities on matters of professional interests and other matters.
 
Gen. Bajwa will also call on Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe to discuss issues of regional security and matters of mutual interest.
