Camera captures “Blue Moon”

The total lunar eclipse of January 31, is over, and many must have seen it!

It was a Blue Moon, a super-moon and a moon in total eclipse.

Yesterday’s full moon is the third in a series of three straight full moon super-moons that is, super-close full moons.

It’s the first of two Blue Moons in 2018.

Some Sri Lankans could have missed it due to cloudy skies that prevailed in several areas of the country.
