Thai experts to try 'artificial rain' in catchment areas

A team of experts from Thailand today (Feb. 20) visited the catchment area of the Mausa Kele and Castlereagh reservoirs to see the possibility of creating artificial rainfall in the area.
 
The water levels at upcountry reservoirs have come down drastically as a result of the prevailing dry weather.
 
It prompted the Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy to invite the Thai experts to look into it.
