Sri Lanka has released 109 Indian fishermen who had been apprehended while poaching in the Sri Lankan waters.
 
Meanwhile, the Indian authorities have released six Sri Lankan fishermen who were caught by them.
 
The 109 Indian fishermen were handed over to the Indian Coast Guard Ships “Atulya” and “Rani Durgawati” in the International Maritime Boundary Line North of Kankesanthurai.
 
Six Sri Lankan fishermen who were brought to SLNS Uttara were handed over to Assistant Director of Fisheries, Jaffna.
