'No-faith motion' against PM to be moved in Parliament

The 'no-faith motion' that would be moved by Joint Opposition will be tabled in Parliament today (Mar. 06).
 
MP Ranjith Zoysa told 'Hiru News' the required signatures will be collected from the MP's during the group meeting of the Joint Opposition MP's which will be held before the start of the sessions.
 
Thereafter, it will be handed over to the Speaker, he said.
 
Meanwhile, addressing the media, the General Secretary of the Pivithuru Hela Urumaya said that the motion against PM will contain 14 charges.
 
However, UNP MP Ajith Mannapperuma said they are ready to face the 'no-confidence' motion to be moved by the Joint Opposition against the PM.
 
Meanwhile, the General Secretary of the United People's Freedom Alliance Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said the UPFA's stance on the motion will be made known only after it is tabled in Parliament.
