Suspect acquitted in Vidya case remanded again

Pubasinham Indrakumar who was acquitted in the murder case of Shivaloganathan Vidya has been remanded over another case.
 
Kayts Magistrate A. M. M. Riyal yesterday (Mar. 21) ordered the suspect to be remanded after he was arrested for threatening a police officer.
 
He was remanded until 28th of this month.
 
Indrakumar was the first suspect in the murder case after the evidence was heard the 3-member judge panel ordered him to be released.
 
However, he was later arrested for threatening a police officer during when he was taking into custody.
 
The suspect was remanded until Attorney General's opinion is sent.
