Hearing on PTL owner's bail application postponed to May

The revised bail applications submitted by the owner of Perpetual Treasuries Limited Arjun Aloysius and its CEO Kasun Palisena were taken up at the Court of Appeal today (Mar. 29).
 
It was taken up by President of the Court of Appeal Justice Preethi Padman Surasena and Justice Shiran Gooneratne.
 
Then the judges decided to take up it again on 18th of May.
 
President's Counsel Gamini Marapana appeared for Aloysius and Palisena.
 
They earlier sought bail from Colombo Fort Magistrate Court and Colombo High Court and both applications were rejected.
 
Thereafter they filed a revised bail application challenging those rulings and requesting them to be released on bail.
