The Joint Opposition claims whatever the outcome of the vote on the ‘no-confidence motion’ against the Prime Minister on 4th of April, they have already achieved their objectives.
 
Addressing a media briefing at Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna head office in Battaramulla this morning (Mar. 30), MP Keheliya Rambukwella highlighted this point.
 
Meanwhile, MP Rohitha Abeygunawardena said as a result of the motion, several factions are created within the United National Party.
