Health Authorities warn that there is a possibility of dengue spreading again due to recent showers.

15,220 dengue patients have been reported so far this year while the majority is from the Western Province.

Last year in total 186,101 dengue patients were reported while the most number of cases were reported in the period from May to August.

Doctor Ananda Wijewickrama said that people should take steps to keep their surroundings clean.
