The Police Narcotics Bureau says the value of cocaine capsules retrieved from two Brazilians who were arrested at the Bandaranaike International Airport is 23 million rupees.
 
The doctors at the Negombo Hospital were successful in their attempts to retrieve cocaine from the two individuals who had arrived from Doha Qatar yesterday and this morning (Jul 01).
 
 The doctors had retrieved 103 pellets were recovered, and the collective weight was 900 grams.
 
The Customs Media Unit said that the suspects were arrested following intelligence information gathered by their officials and the PNB.
 
The 30-year-old Brazilian national arrested yesterday was remanded for 7 days for questioning after he was produced before the Negombo Magistrate today.
