Sri Lankans to witness longest lunar eclipse

Sri Lanka stargazers will be able to witness another celestial phenomenon at the end of this month.
 
They will be able to witness the longest total lunar eclipse of the century on 27th of July, the Esala Full Moon Poya Day.
 
The lunar eclipse will begin at 10.45 pm and then will end at 4.58 am, the next day.
 
The world witnessed another super lunar eclipse in January this year.
