The Organized Crime Prevention Division says that that statements obtained regarding the speech made by former State Minister Vijayakala Maheshwaran that the LTTE should be revived will be forwarded to the State Languages Department to be transcribed.

A senior official said that statements had been obtained from nearly 50 persons regarding her controversial speech.

The main reason to forward these statements to the State Languages Department was since 30 of them were in Tamil.

Those statements will be translated within weeks.
