The Independent Association to Protect ETI Depositors charge that the Central Bank has not taken any decision with regard to the assets owned by Edirisinghe Group.

ETI Finance is a subsidiary of Edirisinghe Group.

The Association says that the management of the Edirisinghe Group has defrauded money of 24,000 depositors, however, the CBSL has not taken any action against them.

A representative of the Association, Anusha Jayanthi said 70% of funds of the depositors are in danger of losing.

She also said a special meeting will be held at the Hyde Park tomorrow at 9 am to inform the depositors of impending dangers.
