SriLankan announces relief measures after Cochin Airport is shut down

The Indian authorities have closed the Cochin airport until 26th of this month due to floods.
 
The national carrier, SriLankan Airlines announced a number of measures to avoid inconvenience caused to the passengers.
 
Accordingly, the SriLankan Airlines said passengers booked for Cochin could now fly to any other South Indian airport without any extra charge.
 
It said passengers from Cochin have the option of boarding a SriLankan flight from Trivandrum.
