Report on the independence of the Joint Opposition to be released next week

The report produced by the committee of experts appointed by the Joint Opposition to make a decision on acting as an independent faction in parliament, is scheduled to be released next week.

MP Ranjith Soysa speaking to our news team stated that the report will be released at the Joint Opposition Party Leaders meeting next Tuesday.  

The committee appointed by the Joint Opposition is presided over by the Chairman of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, Professor G.L. Peiris.

The committee comprises of MPs Dalas Alahapperuma and Susil Premajayantha as well as party leaders of the Joint Opposition and legal experts.
