ETI depositors form a new association to prevent Directors from fleeing the country

Depositors of Edirisinghe Trust Investment Company incorporated an organization titled “Independent Organization to Protect ETI depositors” today.

It is noteworthy how a large number of depositors, who have been unable to recover their deposits, have registered with the organization.  

The depositors allege that the Directors of ETI are preparing to travel overseas without returning their funds.  

The representative of the new organization, Anusha Jayanthi noted that they intend to seek legal action preventing such action.
