New spot fines : Private bus owners threaten to strike

The private bus owners have made threats that they will launch a strike in the near future if the already increased spot fines are not revised.

The General Secretary of the All Ceylon Private Bus Owners' Federation, Anjana Priyanjith said that the government should stick to the previous spot fine system.

Meanwhile, Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association President Gemunu Wijerathna said the decision of his union would be announced after third of September.
