Gotabhaya, Lalith, and PB appear before Presidential Commission

The former Defence Secretary, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa,  former secretary to the President, Lalith Weeratunga and former Financial Ministry Secretary P. B. Jayasundera reported to the Presidential Commission that is probing the corruption alleged to have been taken place in SriLankan Airline and Mihin Lanka.

The Former Defence Secretary who was reported to the commission at 9.15 am had made a two-hour statement.

The group was summoned before the commission to give statements relating to findings that have surfaced during the investigation on alleged corruption that took place at the national carriers. 

Earlier today former chairman of SriLankan airline Nishantha Wickramasinghe and the CEO Kapila Chandrasena were testified before the commission.

it has been reported that the former chairman of Mihin Lanka and former MP Sajin Vaas Gunawardena had also been summoned to appear before the commission.
