Rs. 100 to be charged for NIC

From today onwards, Rs. 100 will be charged for issuing a National Identity Card for the first time.
Rs. 250 will be charged for amending the contents in the NIC.
A citizen will have to pay Rs. 500 to obtain a new NIC for a stolen or if the NIC is reported misplaced.
