Sri Lankan nabbed with Rs. 20 million worth gold biscuits

A Sri Lankan had been apprehended at the Bandaranaike International Airport as he attempted to smuggle gold biscuits worth over Rs. 20 million into the country.

The suspect is a 37-year-old resident of Hatton.

He was apprehended by the Airport Customs with 31 gold biscuits weighing approximately 3.2 kg.
