President Maithripala Sirisena has called upon teachers and parents to take up the responsibility to address issues faced by university students.

At an event held at the Hambantota-Kotawaya Maha Vidyalaya, the President stated that it was the elders, including teachers and parents,  who need to take the initiative to address the issues faced by students.
