Govt launches mobile service to provide legal documents to Northern residents

The government has launched mobile services for Northern residents to obtain legal documents.

This program has been launched under the instruction of President Maithripala Sirisena and guidance of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Accordingly, the public could access these mobile units to obtain legal documents such as National Identity Cards, birth/death certificates, and marriage certificates.

The mobile service which will be conducted at Koppai Christian College today will progress to Tellipalai Union College tomorrow, Jaffna Central college on the day after tomorrow, and Velanai Central College on September 17.
