A hand grenade has been recovered from the premises of the Jaffna University today.
The grenade was recovered from the premises of the Parameshwara temple within the campus premises.
Reports said that the grenade was recovered when the land was being dug to build a wall around the premises.
The Police which was informed of this arrived at the scene with the STF took custody of the grenade.
