Gamini Senarath's case to be heard daily from Oct 29

The Permanent High Court at Bar has decided to hold daily hearings on the case filed against former President’s Chief of Staff Gamini Senarath and three others from October 29.

Senarath, a former Chairman of Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation, and its Managing Director Piyadasa Kudabalage are charged with misappropriation of money amounting to Rs 500 million belonging to Litro Gas Lanka by investing in ventures including the Grand Hyatt hotel project.
