Soldiers involved in the murder of another soldier in Ambepussa suspended

The two army soldiers who were arrested in connection to murdering another soldier using sharp objects at the Ambepussa Army Camp have been suspended without pay.

Army Media Spokesperson, Brigadier Sumith Atapattu told our news team that a Preliminary Army Inquiry Court is already conducting an investigation into the two soldiers.

The soldier was murdered and his weapon was stolen on the morning of the 21st while he was on duty at the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment regimental headquarters at Ambepussa.
