The chairman of the National Livestock Development Board, K Mutuvinayagam was arrested by Bribery sleuths today on the charges of taking a bribe of 600 thousand rupees.

SSP Priyantha Chandrasiri stated that the suspect had demanded 1.2 million rupees to give its cafeteria at Melsiripura farm on lease for two years.

The suspect had agreed to reduce the bribe to 600 thousand rupees and, he is charged for collecting the bribe through a second person.
