Day 2 of The Supreme Court’s consideration of the petitions filed by 13 factions that have challenged the dissolution of parliament by the president continues today. The hearing commenced at 10 this morning, before the seven-judge panel led by the Chief Justice.

Meanwhile, Attorney General Jayantha Jayasuriya appeared before Court this morning to make a submission during which time he said that the Supreme Court has no jurisdiction to hear the petitions filed against the President.
