Date set for police officers to communicate their greivances

The Law and Order Division of the Ministry of Defence stated that police officers should communicate their grievances and appeals on professional concerns faced by them, before the 17th of this month.

Accordingly, such concerns can be communicated to the Law and Order Division on 011 2 88 72 38 or 011 2 88 77 56 as well as to the division’s “Inform the President” unit on 011 2 88 74 74.

The special meeting to address the grievances of police officers is scheduled to take place on the 24th of this month at the Suhuru-paaya – Battaramulla.

The meeting has been scheduled under the directives of the President and will be presided over by the Chief of Presidential Staff, H.M.P. Hitisekara.

A committee of five presided over by the Chief of Presidential Staff was appointed to address the grievances of police officers, under the directives issued at the meetings held recently at the Presidential Secretariat under the patronage of the President.
