Meeting between Opposition Leader Mahinda and JVP Leader next week

A discussion between Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa and JVP Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake is scheduled to be held next week.

A Spokesperson at the Opposition Leaders Office said that since the budget proceedings will get underway next week, the meeting will most likely be held at the Parliamentary complex.

JVP Leader had previously said that they hope to hold discussions with other political parties regarding abolishing the executive presidency.
