Shooting incidents have been reported from two mosques at Christchurch in New Zealand

It is reported that two armed individuals had entered the mosques and carried out the shooting and at least six people have been killed.

Another shooting has been reported from near the Christchurch hospital but further information has not yet been released.

New Zealand Police requested Christchurch residents to remain within their homes.

Media of New Zealand reported that, the touring Bangladeshi Cricket Team had gone to one of the mosques where the shooting took place and they had succeeded in escaping unharmed through a nearby Park.
