Administrative Council says the Vice-Chancellor of the Jaffna University has been removed

The Administrative Council of the Jaffna University says that they have received a letter stating that the Vice Chancellor of that University Ratnam Wigneshwaran has been removed from his post.

It is reported that a Competent Authority has been appointed instead, for a period of 3 months.

The Hiru News Division made an inquiry regarding this from the Vice Chancellor Ratnam Wigneshwaran.

He said that he has not received any such letter as yet.
