Justice Prasanna Jayawardena withdraws from hearing case against former Chief Justice Sarath N. Silva

Justice Prasanna Jayawardana has withdrawn from hearing the contempt of court case against former Chief Justice Sarath N Silva.

When the case was taken for hearing today, he said that he withdrew from the panel on personal reasons.

The other members of the panel are Justice Murdu Fernando and Justice Gamini Amarasekera.

Accordingly, the case was adjourned until June 28th. On a previous occasion, Justice Priyantha Jayawardana withdrew from the panel.
