A Court Case against the secretary of Sri Lanka Thowheeth Jama’ath before July 25

A case which had been filed against the Secretary of the Sri Lanka Thowheeth Jama’ath organization Abdul Razik in connection with an incident of issuing statements that insulted the General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena organization Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara thero and the Buddhist people was taken up for hearing today in the presence of Additional Magistrate of Colombo Kanchana De Silva.

This case had been filed by the Colombo Crimes Division in the year 2016.

The Colombo Crimes Division informed the Court that the Attorney General’s advice had not been received up to now regarding the case.

Accordingly this case is  due to be summoned for hearing again on 25 July.
