Parliament was informed today that the fine for keeping a sword in possession is 50 rupees.

Participating in a special adjourning debate on the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks, Non-Cabinet Minister, Dr Harsha de Silva said that this fine is charged under the Public Security Ordinance.
