It was reported that attendance at Sunday schools which reopened today after the Easter Sunday attacks was low.

Our correspondents said that there were some Sunday schools at which even a single student was not present.

Meanwhile, Spokesperson for the Archbishop’s house Rev. Father Edmond Thilakarathna said that a final decision has not yet been taken on the date, catholic schools will reopen, even though previously it was said that schools are likely to reopen this week.

Primary Sections of Government schools will commence their 2nd Term tomorrow.

Though the 2nd Term commenced for classes above Grade 6 last week, student attendance was quite low.
