Prime Minister requests that the Vesak Festival be commemorated

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe said that the government is committed to commemorating the Vesak Festival and that he requests all Buddhists to do so as well.  

The Prime Minister expressed his views to the media subsequent to meeting the Mahanayake of the Kotte Sri Kalyani Samagree Dharma Maha Sangha Sabha Most Venerable Iththepane Dhammalankara nayake thero, yesterday (12) evening.
