The President and the Chinese Government to sign three agreements related to national security and development, today

President Maithripala Sirisena and the Chinese Government are scheduled to sign three special agreements connected to National Security in Sri Lanka and development.

The President who is on an official visit to China, met the Chinese President Xi Jin Ping and on this occasion, the security provisions put in place regarding the terrorist attack had been subject to discussion.

Meanwhile, based on a special request made by the President, the Chinese Government has agreed to provide 100 new jeeps to the Police Department.

The Presidential Media Division said that at the International Conference on Asian Civilizations which begins in Beijing tomorrow, the President will be explaining the present situation in the country as well.
