Dengue at the Galle Dakshina Navy Camp

It is reported that more than 30 personnel at the Dakshina Navy Camp in Galle have contracted Dengue.

The Southern Province Director of Health Services Dr. G. Wijesuriya told the Hiru News Division that during the past 4 months 1300 Dengue patients have been reported from the Galle District.

Accordingly, places where Dengue larvae were breeding were found in the Navy Camp premises and he said that steps will be taken to destroy these areas within one week.
