The Parliament Sectoral Oversight Committee on National Defence is scheduled to meet today to consider the 11 proposals forwarded by the SLFP in order to draft new laws to strengthen the National Defence.

MP Mahinda Amaraweera said that the proposals will be discussed in depth during the meeting today.
