No confidence against Minister Bathiutheen to the Parliament’s agenda

The no confidence motion handed over to the Speaker, against Minister Rishard Bathiutheen has been included in the Parliament’s agenda.

However a date has not been allocated to take it up for discussion.

The no confidence motion which includes 10 charges, was handed over by the Joint Opposition.

Influencing the Army Commander by requesting to release certain suspects as well as providing scrap metals to the copper factory owned by the suicide bombers were among the charges.
