Cyber attack on few websites including that of Kuwait Embassy

The Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Response Team said that few local websites with .lk or .com domains including that of the Kuwait Embassy in Sri Lanka have been subjected to a Cyber attack.

The websites have been defaced with various content.

Among the websites affected were private companies as well as the Rajarata University and Sri Lanka Tea Research Institute.
