Father’s blow with a mammoty kills son

An incident where the father hit a son with a mammoty and killed him is reported from Alpitiya, Rakwana.

It is said that this incident took place when an argument between the two had gone too far.

Police said it was a 39 year old from Godakawela Alpitiya who was killed thus.

This incident had taken place yesterday (19) evening and the Police had taken the suspect, the father into custody.

He is due to be produced before the Pelmadulla Court today (20).

The Rakwana Police are carrying out further investigations into the incident.
