Case against former Defence Secretary postponed

The case filed by the Attorney General against seven defendants including former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was ordered today to be postponed to 30 of this month by the three-judge bench of the Special High Court.

This case was filed alleging that the defendants had misused Rs. 34 million worth of government money when constructing the D. A. Rajapaksa Memorial Museum at Medamulana during the administration of the previous government and that an offence had been committed under the Public Property Act.
