A Red Light from the Joint Opposition

Member of Parliament Mahindananda Aluthgamage says that if the No-Confidence motion against Minister Rishard Bathiudeen is not taken up for debate soon they will not allow parliament activities to take place.

The Parliamentarian expressed these views at a media briefing held at the Opposition Leader’s office today.

Meanwhile, at a media briefing held in Colombo yesterday Politburo member of the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna K. D. Lalkantha said that facts about politicians who maintain contact with groups that have extremist ideas should be revealed to the public.
